Festival Camping Tips HEADING_TITLE
1. Always make sure the festival has got its license before you buy a ticket.

2. Relax and wait.

3. Panic there's only two weeks to go.

4. After reading these tips take a look at the on line shop.

5. Plan what you need to survive but don't go over the top so as you have too much to carry. Remember you can buy most things there.

6. Go with some good friends, but also be prepared for differences in opinion such as where to camp, eat and what bands to see.

7. Make sure you take enough cash. Credit card and banks on site normally have big queues and waste valuable fun time.

8. Plan how you are going to get to the festival. By car, train or bus. If you go by car expect long delays and also remember where you left it, three or four days at festival can distort your whole way of thinking and it will not look the same when you go to leave. By train is normally good with a bus link. If you are stuck in a bus queuing at least you have loads of other people to party with. You may be subject to a police search with any of theses forms of transport.

9. When you arrive please remember which entrances you go in by. Even write it down.

10. Further drug, alcohol and weapon checks may happen at the entrances to the festival.

11. Don't rush to pitch your tent. Take time to look around. Check out the amenities.

12. Bad places to pitch your tent: Next to toilets - Next to taps or stand pipes - Next to litter bins or waste collections points

13. Good places to pitch your tent: Somewhere flat and even - Somewhere with a distinctive location. Use a tree, flag or land mark to help you recognise where your tent is.

14. When you and your friend are pitching your tent give yourselves plenty of room, as it will soon disappear as the festival grows.

15. Arrival days are the best days to cook for yourselves, as when the festy starts you will be having too much fun and you won't want to cook.

16. Get to know your neighbours.

17. Familiarize your selves with the whole site layout before it gets dark.

18. If fires are allowed get a good stock of wood for the evening fire.

19. Make sure you keep your valuables on you at all times.

20. Sit down, light your fire, put your blanket around you and have a few beers.
